The quality and look of this bowl is quite stunning! It feels very well made. I love the "imperfections" of the bowl it adds so much character to it. I'm sure there's a slight dwell of a thumb and I just adore that . I'm so glad I bought them. Delivery was extremely quick and chatting with Anna was a pleasure!

Hobby ceramicist...with dreams of a cottage industry

I'm not a creative person by training, but I really enjoy making things, trying out new crafts, pottering about. I come from a family of predominantly scientists all of whom have a serious creative streak running through them.

I bought my first kiln a few years ago in a phase of yearning to produce something I could hold. It was an ancient electric kiln from eBay, already around 25 years old and I still use it now!

I tend to work with stoneware. Occasionally porcelain. I hope you like some of my work - I have certainly enjoyed making them to show you.

Hello and thank you for visiting! I hope you enjoy browsing through the items in my shop and find something that appeals to you. I hand make my items from start to finish with stoneware clay and firing in my electric kiln.

I like to make simple, mostly functional, items that you can use every day.

Payment

I accept payment via PayPal as so many people use it but don't be put off if you don't have a PayPal account because you can still make payments through them! Once I have received payment, I shall ship your item as quickly as I can.

If you're not familiar with shopping on Etsy, they have a very helpful FAQ on how it all works.

I allow for packaging costs within my shipping charges but I aim to keep these to a minimum, recycling materials wherever possible.

Shipping

I am based in the UK and ship using 2nd class signed for through Royal Mail. Should you need your item quickly or via a recorded delivery option, please contact me and we can make the necessary arrangements, adjusting postage costs for faster delivery options.

I will ship using the address details provided through PayPal - please let me know when you place your order if you would like your item delivered to a different address and I shall be happy to amend this.

For all of the items I have in stock, I shall aim to send these out within 2 days of receipt of your order and payment.

Please note that my items are all hand made and hand painted and are therefore one of a kind. They may have what could be considered minor imperfections but this is part of the charm of unique pieces.

I regularly use my hand painted ceramics in my home and they withstand careful daily use including cleaning in a dishwasher but I cannot offer any guarantee on my products (none of the pieces for sale have been used in my own home of course!!).
